Y Bwthyn at Brenig Cottage Escapes is located in a small hamlet named Saron,   in the county of Denbighshire, North Wales, UK. You can find our location at LL16 4TH.

The cottage sleeps up to six adults and we have two extra single beds for children therefore accommodating up to 8 people.  It is also cosy enough for just a couple.

Yes. We offer a discount throughout the year for a couple using one bedroom. Please enquire.

Yes. We welcome up to two dogs or if the cottage isn’t fully occupied with 6-8 guests we may be able to accommodate more dogs.  Please enquire first.

Yes! In fact we have two enclosed gardens.  The rear garden has 7’ fence panels with an entrance from the kitchen.  The secret garden has a 4’ wooden rail fence with chicken wire and stock fence .  Dogs can be off lead in both gardens.  There is also an enclosed space in the car parking area although dogs should be on a lead here. 

We have dog throws for downstairs furniture.   We prefer not to allow dogs upstairs and have a roller style stair-gate at the bottom of the stairs. If these arrangements would prove difficult for you, please contact us  to discuss. We want your dogs to be comfortable so we can be flexible.  If they can’t settle downstairs  they can go upstairs as long as they use their own beds

Yes. The cottage is very popular with families and we welcome children of all ages. We have a travelcot, high chair and one stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. 

Zip World, Surf Snowdonia, sandy beaches,watersports, husky rides, fishing , walking, mountain biking and many more.  We are in a perfect location to access most of North Wales’s popular destinations and activities. We do not accept party groups. We welcome families and groups of friends who want a place to relax and unwind and have smaller family get togethers and celebrations.

Yes. There are dog friendly restaurants and cafes in the local area as well as dog friendly beaches.  Further information can be found on our digital guidebook app.

The cottage has three bedrooms. One  king size bedroom with en-suite;  one double bedroom and one versatile superking bedroom. The superking bedroom has different layout options. It can be left with one large bed or split into two single beds .  Two extra single beds for two children can also be put up in the superking bedroom.  Therefore the superking bedroom can accommodate 2-4 people.   We can also provide a travel cot. 

There is ample room outdoors and guests are often surprised at how much space there is for them to enjoy and for their dogs to be off lead. The cottage has two separate private and enclosed gardens.  Take a look at our gallery photos and our social media pages.
